3 Hungarian desserts in CNN’s world top 50
Posted by Mia Balogh · Sep 6, 2019

Can you guess which Hungarian desserts are among CNN’s ’50 of the world’s best desserts’ list?

Everyone is different and so are our favourite desserts. So it is maybe totally impossible to find the world’s best sweet treat in which everybody agrees. Some desserts managed to gain bigger popularity though, and from time to time, there are some brave journalists and bloggers who try to make compilations with these.

Lately, CNN Travel published their list called ’50 of the world’s best desserts’ which offers you a unique culinary journey around the world and its sweet treats. The sweets are in alphabetical order – we think it’s a good idea instead of ranking – from Alfajores (South America) to Tub Tim Krob (Thailand).

For us it is also interesting that three Hungarian desserts are on the list, too, namely Eszterhazy cake, Kifli and Rigó Jancsi. If you have already tasted at least one of these, you will definitely know why. ;)
