No larger events in Hungary after 15 August

After announcing that this year there will be no firework, we have to spend this summer without big public events and festivals, too.

According to the new restrictions announced, “the Hungarian government has declared a ban on all public events attracting more than 500 people beyond the initial 15 August deadline” – We Love Budapest writes.

We already know for a while that the annual fireworks for Hungary’s national day, 20 August were called off – we wrote about it here: http://budnews.hu/news/News/1687/the-biggest-national-holiday-of-hungary-is-called-off

We were still hoping that some of the big concerts and open-air festivals that we were waiting for so long can be organized but it is already sure that we have to wait a little bit more for these to finally happen.
