Anyone who is a bit familiar with comics, series, anime, or at least has such a friend, has probably heard of Comic Con. This event is the biggest celebration of comic books, series and nerd movies and will finally take place in Hungary as well. As the organizers said: Comic Con is a huge pop-culture, cross-genre, yet interconnected party. This is an exhibition and fair of science fiction, fantasy, manga, cosplay, series, movies, comics, card games, game consoles, so the paradise on Earth for fans.

Not much is known about this year's first Comic Con in Budapest, only the date has been announced: 15-16. August, so the weekend after Sziget Festival will be the big date. The exact program and the celebrity guests aren't known yet, but organizers promise foreign and domestic movie stars, international cosplay and anime celebrities, movie shows, professional talks, fan meetings, and of course video games, cartoons and card games, all that we could expect from the original Comic Con in San Diego.
