Ice floating on Danube: the capital has never been such beautiful

Tamás Rizsavi conquered BoredPanda with his mesmerizing photos about frozen Danube, and the whole internet gone crazy about BBC’s video on icy Budapest.

BBC’s video about ice floating down the river is the most popular video about the Hungarian capital these days. With its 5,8 million views and more than 43 thousand shares, we can say: Budapest hasn’t been so popular long since. The extreme cold weather had its effect: many parts of Europe are covered with ice these days. Although we had difficulties is transportation and getting to work in the morning, but as long as we have such beauty to admire, there should not be reason to complain:

And we can show something even more beautiful. Tamás Rizsavi grabbed the opportunity and captured breathtaking photos about the rare phenomenon. The river comes to life on his pictures: sparkles in its unearthly beauty. „It was worth being out in the -20°C degrees to capture its beauty” – said the photographer. We totally agree.
