Budapest on two impressive lists – again

In the last couple of years, Budapest’s name is on almost every important list made by well-known magazines – let us tell you a little bit more about the two recent cases!

Every year, the New York Times gives us a compilation about 52 places where you should travel in the upcoming year. In 2017, they have also chosen Budapest, as 50th on the list, thanks to – as they write – “an appealing, youthful energy increasingly arises in the city”. They think that new restaurants like Szimply and Margá Bisztro and accommodations like Hotel Rum can help the city’s youthful and stylish ascent.

The Blonde Salad is a well-known fashion and travel blog, and they have recently made a list about the most beautiful metro stations of the world. The Hungarian participant is the Szent Gellért Square stop of metro line 4, on the Buda-side of the city. Take a look at it, and at the other amazing metro stations:
