The beauty of the Hungarian capital, divided in two city parts by the Danube has impressed Lufthansa, as well, so Budapest has earned the title ‘City of the Month’ this August.

The Hungarian capital fascinates people day by day – and not only locals and tourists are impressed by the beauties of the city, but for example Lufthansa, too: the company has chosen Budapest as ‘City of the Month’ this August and they also recommend you several beauties to see here.

According to them, you shouldn’t miss for example the luxury hotel New York Palace, the Danube promenade in Pest, Castle Hill in Buda, Budapest Eye on Erzsébet Square, ruins of the Roman settlement called Colonia Aquincum in Óbuda, the city from bird’s-eye view, flooded caves, interesting mausoleums and cemeteries and of course the baths and ruin bars.

Those who follow Lufthansa's activities in the social media can expect several videos shared from the ‘City of the Month’ in August.
