Nehru-shore development has launched

The renewal of this neglected area has started: soon the southern neighborhood of Bálna Budapest will be a mesmerizing beach. We show the final plans.

We are extremely looking forward to this project: there is a huge opportunity in this central region called Nehru-shore instead of the current bleakness. As we reported earlier, the renewal of this outdated park between Bálna Budapest and Boráros square begins this year; in fact, they’ve already started the first works.

The countless opportunities of the first plan became much more pure by now: the final plan shows only a few elements of it, thus creating a modern, yet livable and likeable park.

Moreover, the Danube banks are going to renew not only in this section: car parks will disappear from the Pest abutment of Elizabeth Bridge and Széchenyi square and new cafes and restaurants are going to open on Belgrád quay.

This is how Nehru-shore looks now:

And it will look like this in a year from now:

We are so excited to see the riverside in its new form, aren’t you?
