Netflix bought the worldwide rights of Kornél Mundruczó’s new English-language movie, Pieces of a Woman so we all can probably check it out there in the near future.

Kornél Mundruczó is a well-known, multi-award winning Hungarian movie director, who has recently directed his first English-language film called Pieces of a Woman. The movie tells us the story of a woman, who loses her newborn baby.

She is played by Vanessa Kirby who took the Best Actress Volpi Cup at last Saturday awards ceremony for this year’s Venice Film Festival. Her partner in the film is LaBeouf, and they star alongside Molly Parker, Sarah Snook, Iliza Shlesinger, Benny Safdie, Jimmie Falls and Ellen Burstyn.

“As a European filmmaker, I couldn’t be more excited and appreciative of finding my home for this film with Netflix. Their taste in independent cinema feels like the United Artists of the 1970s. The true champions of filmmakers and original voices for today," the director said in a statement about the distribution deal with Netflix.
