Do you remember Botond Nahimi’s video about the empty streets of Budapest? http://budnews.hu/index.php?node=news&id=1609 Well, he is not the only filmmaker who was inspired by the sheer beauty of our capital: Márton Bohn directed a short film entitled ‘Budapest – The Silent City’ which showcases the deserted streets, squares and trams without passengers.

Sights like the Citadella, Heroes’ Square, the Chain Bridge and the Parliament building and landmarks like Keleti railway station can be seen in the video, and the music is presented by Margaret Island. Singer Viki Lábas is presenting A csend (‘Silence’), lyrics by Péter Gerendás.
