Canadian filmmaker, storyteller, world traveller and vlogger Wes Kelemen undertook a project last year: he created a video of Budapest by using more than 2700 individual photographs of the city. In the end, he managed to show us something magical: a short film that takes us on a journey through the streets of our capital.

By watching the video, you’ll find yourself on the iconic tram 2, at the Basilica and inside the building (the gilded ceiling is simply amazing). You’ll see markets, the Ferris wheel at Erzsébet Square, a public transport ticket vending machine, the Parliament Building from the Buda side of the city, Vajdahunyad Castle, Széchenyi Baths, the Danube, the city lights by night, Heroes’ Square and Buda Castle.
