According to American Airlines’ press release, the company will operate direct flights between Chicago and Budapest, from 7 May to 24 October 2020.

Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners will be used for that, just like at the other company, LOT Polish Airlines, which is already ensuring direct air link between Budapest and Chicago. LOT launched their direct flight between the Hungarian capital and the Windy City in 2018. That flight operates twice a week year-round but from 2020, it will be available only during the summer season.

So the schedules at LOT and American Airlines can be very similar, and we will see if there will be any significant difference concerning the ticket prices.
