Hungarian real estate investor Indotek Group has purchased Hotel Gellert recently, We Love Budapest writes. The new owner has already announced some of their big plans, for example a total restauration in the upcoming years which wouldn’t change the outside of the iconic building.

In the end, Hotel Gellért can be a five-star luxury hotel, and the new owners hope that tourists will visit Budapest, the city of healing waters, especially for the opportunity to stay at Hotel Gellért – just like in the golden age of the edifice.
