Creator of the world-famous Rubik’s Cube interviewed by Mashable

Ernő Rubik talks about his famous cube.

‘All the time I’m wondering about the global impact of the cube. The world record is less than 5 seconds. It looks very simple, but in the same time it can be very complicated’ – says Ernő Rubik, inventor of the Rubik’s cube.

He was interviewed by Mashable, and our attention was drawn by Index.hu to this short but quite interesting video.

He says that there are practically infinite numbers of possibilities how to try solving it (it’s not infinite, but you’ll see), and that you can solve it in 20 steps but if you want to be fast, you’d better choose more. Ernő Rubik even tells you the ‘secret’ that you’ll need to solve the cube efficiently.

Do you want to try? Good luck! ;)
