The location is more than surprising.

Karl Lagerfeld is one of the biggest names in the fashion industry. He is well recognized around the world for his white hair, black sunglasses, high starched collars, and of course, the clothes he makes. Now one of the largest fashion icons in the world opens his new store in Budapest in September, which will be the first in the country. The choice of location in Budapest is pretty unusual: it will be the first luxury store that won’t open its store on Andrássy Avenue or in its neighborhood, but in a mall (Aréna mall) far away from the city center, near Keleti Railway Station.

The brand has 95 stores and big wholesale network worldwide, but their presence in Central and Eastern Europe is sporadic so far. Fortunately, the network is constantly expanding: Vermont Group, the distributor of premium brands in Hungary introduces Karl Lagerfeld to the country.

This new Lagerfeld store is good news to every fashionista. The brand’s portfolio includes "ready-to-wear" clothing for men and women, children's wear, bags and small leather accessories, watches, eyeglasses, footwear, perfumes, candles and jewels are also available. The Karl Lagerfeld brand is also known for its capsule collections, which are produced in various collaborations, such as Vans or Yoni Alter and Steven Wilson. The newest capsule collection with Puma comes in September, just as the result of joint work with Kaia Gerber, who is the daughter of Cindy Crawford, and both of them will be available in the new Hungarian unit.
