One of the biggest companies in the Hungarian gastronomy and hospitality industry opened bars and restaurant in Southern Spain.

Do you know Pierrot restaurant, Jamie’s Italian, Spíler, És Bisztó or the Opera Café? Well, these places all belong to the same company, the Zsidai Group, which is one of the biggest in the Hungarian hospitality industry. They have hotels and restaurants in Budapest, a restaurant in Vienna and now 3 in Marbella, as they got the opportunity to develop the Kempinski Hotel and its gastronomic offer in Costa del Sol.

The Zsidai Group creates restaurants, bars, hotels, and cafés for 36 years and they are working with Kempinski since 2013 in Hungary. After the successful gastronomic cooperation with the Kempinski Hotel in Budapest (És Bistro, És Deli), the hotel management team entrusted the Hungarian group to transform and re-create the lobby and guest space and to create the complete gastronomic offer in their Spanish unit. As a result, the El Paseo del Mar gastronomic center was opened in March 2018: the Baltazár Bar & Grill Restaurant, Black Rose The Bar with cocktail and wine bar, Spíler Beach Club restaurant and Spíler Pool Bar at the hotel's pools.

The new El Paseo del Mar gastronomic center was established by the Zsidai Group and operated jointly with Kempinski hotel. The reconstruction of the community areas of the hotel, the architectural design, the gastronomic concept and the corporate identity of the two restaurants and two bars belonging to the El Paseo del Mar unit were entirely managed by the Hungarian group. The group commissioned Ákos Bara interior designer to think through and design the interior design transformations. In the selection of food and beverages, the company group kept in mind Andalusia's gastronomic culture, local fresh ingredients, local residents' needs and the expectations of tourists. The hotel's unconcealed intention with this move is to actively involve the locals by opening the doors to the general public as well as hotel guests.
