Budapest is an amazing city so it is not a wonder that our capital city attracts more and more travellers from all around the world. Qatar Airways also noticed this tendency so they will increase their flight frequency between Doha and the Hungarian capital: they will add four additional flights from 2 August. This will augment the airline’s weekly service to Hungary to 18 flights.

Moreover, they will upgrade to a wide-body Airbus A330, instead of their Airbus A320 and A321 aircrafts.

So from August 2, the QR 197 will run from Doha to Budapest, departing at 3.30 p.m. and arriving at 8.20 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The returning QR 198 departs Budapest at 11 p.m. and arrives at Doha at 5.20 a.m. the following morning.
