Burj Khalifa lit up by Hungarian artists’ amazing animation
Posted by Mia Balogh · May 24, 2018

Hungarian people are talented in so many things – recently, some of our fellow citizens used some ‘magic’, well, we mean some light painting on Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Hungarian team called Freelusion – famous for combining 3D graphics, projection mapping technology and videomapping dance choreography – had the honour this year to light up Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in Dubai and in the world.

Burj Khalifa is 828 metres tall and has 10 million led lights so the Hungarian artists had a huge opportunity to create something really immense, amazing, incredible and unforgettable.

Lighting up Burj Khalifa is not the first success for Freelusion. They took part in Britain’s Got Talent in 2013 and finished among the 45 best competitors. After that, they applied to America’s Got Talent and made it to the semi-finals.

Are you ready for two minutes of magic? ;)

If you are lucky enough to travel to Dubai until 31 May, you can watch this incredible light show personally. Shows play Sundays to Wednesdays: 7:15 pm – 10:15 pm every hour and Thursdays to Saturdays: 6:45 pm – 10:45 pm every 30 minutes.
