The ‘King’ of burgers in Budapest
Posted by Mia Balogh · Mar 31, 2016

Huge spicy burger with some Hungarian delicacies – ‘King’ is a burger really worthy of the name.

I really love hamburger and luckily, my friends are just like me. So we pamper our taste buds regularly and talk about recently discovered burger bars in Budapest a lot. Of course we know Pesti Burger and Bar where ‘King’ burger was created, and still is the king of the burgers.

When I first heard of this treat, it was mentioned as one of the biggest and most expensive hamburgers in Budapest. Then someone else said that the value for money in Pesti Burger and Bar is really good, and it’s true for this specialty, as well.

‘King’ arrives to your table with nice potato chips and one of the best cabbage salads in the city. Your burger contains 0.44 pounds of Angus patties, some bacon slices, nice piece of a grilled duck liver, dried tomatoes, onion jam and even jalapenos. The delicious buns are served with some homemade aioli. On the top of the burger, you will find some grilled onions which I think is not the best idea for decoration but must fit to the burger’s taste-orgy.
