Three international productions, three Budapest premieres, three co-production premieres and the gala evening and dance history lecture of the Hungarian Dance Academy are included in the program of the Budapest Dance Festival organized from February 18th to March 1st in Budapest's four most prestigious cultural institutions: Müpa - Budapest, the National Theatre of Hungary, the Liszt Academy and Pesti Vigadó.

This year’s headliners are of the Nederlands Dans Theater 2, the most influential company of the contemporary dance world, the Scottish Dance Theatre that celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and the Spanish La Verone. Next to these, all big Hungarian troupes will come on stage: Szeged Contemporary Ballet, the Ballet of Pécs, the Hungarian Dance Academy, Budapest Dance Theatre, Dezső Fitos ensemble, the Central Europe Dance Theatre and Ballet Miskolc - GG dance Eger all show what they know.
