Éva Szombat shoots not merely kitschy happy people. She captures how many things can make us happy, and that these are the sometimes funny, sometimes usual things that make life more beautiful. In her photo series "Practitioner's” she introduces really unique and loveable characters. We can get to know the cheerful diversity of joy that often meant a way out of the saddest moments.

The photos clearly show how diverse is happiness. No trips to the Caribbean, or sunset pictures reproduce its meaning the best. Eva discovered a quite interesting thing during the shooting: not those people are the happiest who has everything. On the contrary, who had to fight for the happiness.
