Mobile sauna on the Citadel

You can heat up in a really special mobile sauna on the top of Budapest.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m really into go to the sauna especially in this cold weather. And the best place I can imagine for this is a special mobile sauna on the top of the Citadel, from where you can admire the whole city. Guess what: Valyo (the City and River Association) purchased a scrapped airport bus and after a thorough renovation / remodeling operates it as a mobile sauna!

The mobile sauna has showed up on several spots of the city in the previous years. Now it’s on the Citadel in the current season, where we can enjoy the perfect panorama just like previous year, when it was anchored by the river. And we don’t even have to dig deep into our pocket: a ticket is 10 thousands HUF for one and a half hour, regardless of the number of participants. This means the price of a cinema ticket in case of a six-person company, but of course it can be rented for just the two of you if you'd rather experience something romantic. Valyo provides everything you need: the wood necessary for heating, essential oils and even towels on demand, we can change clothes in the bus and also an outdoor shower is provided.

And there's one more interesting fact at the end: DJ Panda made a hot mix especially for the mobile sauna in early 2015 that you can find here.
