“Get lost in Wonderland” – says a photo that I found when I was trying to know more about Vinyl & Wood, a Hungarian company that has more and more great products since I have found them via Instagram. I was looking for unique gift ideas for Christmas, and I started to browse among the wall clocks and other beautiful decorations when I found them on Instagram and started to follow them.
After seeing more and more beautiful items, mainly vinyl wall clocks, I wanted to know more about them. I managed to find some information about the relatively new company – I learned to know that two friends had the idea to build the concept of recycling into the world of home decoration and design. They didn’t have much experience, but both of them seemed to be really motivated and creative. So, after a few months, they started their business.
At first, they started as a webshop, but after the growing interest and demands of their clientele, they opened the Vinyl & Wood Store in downtown Budapest, in 35 Wesselényi Street.

If you look at the name, you can find out that their products are made mainly of vinyl records and wood. Vinyl wall clocks are the main profile of their company, but you can find other exclusive products here, as well – now they have items from five product lines, from different manufacturers.

My personal favourites are the wooden wallets available at the company, and I would like to buy a really nice one for my boyfriend in the future: his last wallets were not really durable and I hope that a wooden one will last longer.
