Our beautiful capital in the top 5 of an impressive list again.
If you read us regularly, you must have noticed that we are obsessed with the beauty of Budapest (well, just a little bit ;)). So it’s not a surprise that we like those compilations where our capital is also mentioned among the top cities of Europe and of the world.
The newest compilation was published by the global travel site Big 7, and is called ‘The 50 most instagrammable places in Europe 2019’. The list is quite impressive, ranks amazing countries, regions and cities – including Budapest, on the 4th place.
How did Big 7 Travel choose the winners?
Via the analyse of Instagram hashtags for each European country, as well as its main cities, survey results of Big 7 Media’s 1.5 million audience, and votes cast by a panel of travel experts. “The weighting was broken down as hashtag: 30%, judge: 30% survey: 30%, visual oweview 10%” – they write on their website.
