How to find the perfect accommodation in Budapest?
Posted by Mia Balogh · Apr 11, 2017

Let us give you a couple of ideas where to stay if you visit the Hungarian capital city.

Of course you would like to find the perfect accommodation before you arrive to Budapest. So after making a short list about what you want to do, what you want to see in our beautiful capital city, I suggest you to focus on the Pest side of the Danube (the east bank), where most of the sights can be seen. And you should decide in a very important question, too: would you like to stay in the city centre or not really, and how many stars your accommodation should have? Let us help you shortly in that.

1. Luxury Hotels: You can stay in really elegant hotels with stunning views over the Danube – for example the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace, the historic Hotel Palazzo Zichy or the equally luxurious Corinthia Hotel Budapest (don’t miss the spa here, it’s majestic).

2. Mid-Range Hotels: If you are looking for something less sumptuous, try a really good mid-range hotel steps from great shopping and dining possibilities. Bo18 Hotel Superior, Casati Budapest Hotel or Gerloczy Rooms de Lux (another boutique hotel in the heart of Pest) can be ideal for you.

3. Budget Hotels: If affordability and central location are the most important for you, then book your room in a cheaper hotel – some of these are really good like Hotel Erzsebet City Center, Hotel Chesscom or the charming Kis Gellert Guesthouse.

After booking the right room, you only have to enjoy your stay in Budapest! ;)
