The whole world is fascinated by Széchenyi Bath, it is not a wonder, and not only tourists admire its beauty and the good effects its thermal water has on our body: Széchenyi Medicinal Bath has been chosen recently to the best international thermal bath of the year by the International Medical Travel Journal.

Baths with proved healing power could apply to the competition and the independent, international jury has chosen the best health tourism facilities in 21 categories. So Széchenyi Bath and Spa is not only the largest medicinal bath in Europe but also the best one in 2016.

Széchenyi Bath and Spa was designed by architect Győző Czigler, and was opened for the public more than 100 years ago, in 1913. Visitors can enjoy the 76 °C thermal water coming from 1246 metres deep in Renaissance-style surroundings. Széchenyi Bath is one of the Hungarian capital’s iconic landmarks, so we are not really surprised that it’s building’s model has been chosen recently to represent Hungary in Brussels, at the Mini Europe exhibition.
