Are you looking for a really good gym in Budapest? Let us help you by sharing a list of our favourite gyms in the city.

Get Fit River Fitness

Would you like to exercise in a 2000 square meters king sized gym, by trying all that you want from the biggest gym fleet of Hungary? Then Get Fit River Fitness (1138 Budapest, Révész Street 29) is the right choice for you. They offer you free parking and lots of interesting group exercise classes. Try for example zumba, hot iron or TRX.

Gilda Max Hermina Towers

There are several Gilda Max gyms in Budapest, and our colleague is a regular guest in one of these, in Gilda Max Hermina Towers (1146 Budapest, Hungária blvd. 162-166). She likes the group exercise classes, for example aero-kickbox, Pilates and zumba, but sometimes prefers to use the elliptical trainer or to do some weight training alone. They are open 24/7, and always welcome everyone with a smile.

Bliss & Body

If you would like to visit a place where the focus is as much on wellness as it is on fitness, we suggest you to try Bliss & Body (1066 Budapest, Ó Street 43-49). There is a great range and number of gym equipment available, as well as group exercise classes and personal trainers. After sweating in the gym, you can use the wellness facilities, too, for example the swimming pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi.

World Class Marriott

Budapest is beautiful – you can see it during sightseeing or for example during a yoga class in World Class Marriott. This gym can be found in Marriott Hotel (1052 Budapest, Apáczai Csere János Road 4-6), but it is not typically a hotel gym – it is open for everyone. You can use the gym exercise machines and participate the group exercise classes, as well, and it is such a good feeling that the trainers are likely to remember those who return regularly.

Oxygen Wellness

If you would like to connect sightseeing with exercise, we have an idea for you. Take a walk at the beautiful Naphegy tér (Sunhill Square) in Buda, then enjoy a fat burning workout, some swimming, sauna and massage in Oxygen Wellness centre, located there (1016 Budapest, Naphegy Street 67).

Our tip:

Fitness for 1 euro?

Several gyms offer a free occasion to try and decide if you would like to continue training in there, and there are numerous ones providing their services for a really cheap price for the first occasion. Oxygen Wellness Fáy (1139 Budapest, Fáy Street 45) is one of these. You can register via their website for their Start Ticket, available online and for one entry only.
